The 60 litre Cobra Backpack is built primarily for the approach or multi-day expeditions. It's been developed using feedback from The North Face® athletes and mountain guides and the result is a true workhorse of an expedition pack. It's made from durable Cordura®, Dyneema® ripstop and Shredstop™ nylon so can take a bit of a beating. This top-loading pack is roomy enough for all your basecamp gear and at just over 1,600 g, weight will come from the contents not the bag itself. You can save internal space by strapping your rope to the top of the pack under the top lid. Hauling gear is aided by a supportive hip belt and sled-drag clips. There's a reinforced front pocket for crampons and ice axe attachments with slip-in pockets to cover the picks. Ski attachments mean you can switch to boot packing when the incline increases. Lash points and a tool loop on the hip belt allow for external gear carrying if necessary and reflective details provide night-time visibility. For more technical ascents or summit pushes, you can scale the pack right back by removing the frame sheet, hip belt padding and lid.
